These terms apply when you book work with RC Car Entertainment, #129 10985 38 St NE, Calgary AB T3N 1Z2, and when you leave a vehicle with us. Please read them before you book.
Quotes and prices
Prices shown on our website and booking page are reference prices. The final price depends on your vehicle, the parts it needs and what we find once the work is under way. We confirm the exact price with you before any work begins, and we will contact you for approval before doing anything that goes beyond what was quoted.
Booking and appointments
An appointment reserves time and a bay for your vehicle. Times shown when booking are estimates; the actual time on the car can vary with the vehicle, the parts and what we find. If we expect to run long we will tell you.
If you need to change or cancel, please give us as much notice as you can by calling (368) 210-7200. Repeatedly missing appointments without notice may mean we ask for a deposit on future bookings.
Leaving your vehicle with us
When you leave a vehicle with us for work, the following applies.
- Condition on arrival. Please tell us about any existing damage, warning lights, aftermarket wiring or previous work before we start. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, faults or wear, or for problems that were already developing in your vehicle.
- Valuables. Please remove cash, electronics, documents and anything of value before you leave the vehicle. We cannot accept responsibility for personal items left in a vehicle.
- Keys. We need a working key or fob for the vehicle, and for push-to-start vehicles we may need all keys present to program the system.
- Older and modified vehicles. Wiring in older vehicles, and in vehicles with previous aftermarket work, can be brittle or non-standard. We take care, but we cannot guarantee that existing components will not fail during or after work on an older loom.
Our warranty
We provide a lifetime warranty on our installation workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we will put it right at no charge.
Products themselves are covered by the manufacturer warranty, whose length and terms vary by product. We will diagnose a fault and process a manufacturer claim on your behalf where it is covered. The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, water ingress, work carried out by someone else after us, or faults elsewhere in the vehicle.
Collection and storage
Please collect your vehicle once we tell you the work is finished. Vehicles left with us for an extended period after completion, without arrangement, may be subject to storage charges. We will always try to contact you first.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is complete and before the vehicle leaves our premises, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Returns
Product returns are covered by our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Alberta consumer protection law. Where any part of these terms conflicts with that law, the law applies.
