Car audio is priced per vehicle. You approve the number first.
If our work fails, bring it back for as long as you own the vehicle.
Factory screens and controls retained where the vehicle allows.
Rated by Calgary drivers who have had work done here.
Most vehicles do not need to be stripped out to sound better. In a lot of cars the factory speakers are the weak link and everything behind them is fine, so that is where we start — and we will say so rather than sell you a system you do not need.
We work on what is already in the car as readily as we fit new equipment. If a factory amplifier has died or a speaker has gone quiet, we diagnose it before anything is replaced. Repairing a factory amplifier is often far cheaper than replacing the system around it.
A front speaker swap and a full amplifier-and-subwoofer build are very different jobs, so tell us the vehicle and what you are after and we will tell you which one you actually need.
Every one of these is fitted to the vehicle in front of us rather than to a generic template. What suits a 2012 pickup is not what suits a 2023 SUV with a premium factory system.
Coaxial or component, fitted to the factory openings wherever possible. Allow about three hours in the bay for a straightforward front pair.
Factory head units rarely have the power to drive a good set of speakers properly. We handle power, ground and gain setup rather than just bolting a box in.
Eight, ten, twelve and fifteen inch. A compact enclosure is enough for most drivers, and a shallow-mount sub keeps most of your trunk.
Single DIN, double DIN and floating screens with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fitted to suit the dash you have.
Integration interfaces and digital signal processing (DSP) so aftermarket amplifiers and speakers work correctly with a factory head unit you want to keep.
Front stage, amplifier, subwoofer and tuning specified together, rather than added one piece at a time and fighting each other.
If the factory screen is fine, we can usually work behind it instead of cutting a hole in your dashboard.
Plenty of shops will sell you a head unit you do not need. On most modern vehicles an integration interface adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the screen that is already in the dash. The interior stays original, the steering wheel controls keep working, and there is no aftermarket rectangle where the factory trim used to be.
Factory amplified systems need more than a set of speakers. Many of them roll the bass off at low volume, equalise the signal before it leaves the head unit, or run speakers at impedances an aftermarket amp will not like. We correct for that with the right interface and, where the system justifies it, a DSP tuned to the car.
A dead Bose or Infinity amplifier is a repair a lot of shops turn away. Bring it in and we will tell you whether it is the amplifier, the wiring or the head unit before you spend anything on parts.
What is possible depends entirely on the vehicle. Some cars integrate cleanly, some need extra hardware, and a few will not take it at all. We confirm what your year, make and model supports first — we do not promise it will work on everything.
You do not have to know the difference between a component set and a coaxial to make a good decision. Tell us what you listen to and what bothers you about the system now, and we will tell you the cheapest fix that actually solves it.
The biggest audible change per dollar in most vehicles, and often all a car needs.
Good speakers need power. This is usually the step that makes the first one sound like people expected it to.
Low end a door speaker physically cannot produce. A compact sealed box suits most drivers.
Front stage, amplifier and subwoofer chosen together, with the wiring and power to match.
Time alignment and equalisation set for your seating position. The last real gain once the hardware is right.
We do not publish fixed package prices, because the same speaker set is a different job in different vehicles. Every install is quoted on your car before work starts.
Most people arrive knowing the size before they know the brand, so here is the plain version. We fit every common size, and we will tell you what your doors actually take before you buy anything.
Coaxial or component. A coaxial has the tweeter in the middle of the woofer and drops straight into the factory hole. A component set mounts the tweeter separately, higher up, which puts the sound in front of you instead of down by your knees. Components cost more and take longer to fit. In most vehicles they are worth it.
Before you spend more on speakers, consider the door they sit in. Sound deadening is the cheapest real improvement you can make to a car audio system. The same speakers sound noticeably better in a solid, sealed door than in a hollow one.

Enclosures
The taller opening most vehicles from the last fifteen years have. Takes a proper touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built in.
The older, shorter slot. We can fit a standard unit, or a floating screen that mounts in front of the dash so an older car still gets a large display.
Large vertical screens for vehicles that never came with one, where the dash and the vehicle’s wiring will support it.
Where the dash will not take a replacement, or you simply want the interior left original, we add to the screen already fitted instead.
Steering wheel audio controls are retained when we fit a new head unit. If your vehicle has a factory reversing camera, we carry it across where the head unit and the vehicle allow it.
Book a slot online or by phone with your year, make and model. Tell us what you listen to and what bothers you about the system now.
We tell you what will actually fix it, and what it costs on your vehicle. Nothing is started until you have said yes.
Drop the vehicle off. Everything is wired in behind the trim, mounted securely, and given proper power and ground rather than a tap into the nearest wire.
We set gains, test the system and tune it, then go through the controls or app with you before you leave.
Open Monday to Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Closed Sundays. Allow about three hours in the bay for a straightforward front speaker replacement; larger builds are booked to the vehicle.
Equipment is rarely the reason a system sounds bad or stops working. Far more often it is a ground taken from a painted bracket, a power wire with no fuse near the battery, an amplifier with the gain wound up to cover for the wrong speaker wiring, or a door card that was never clipped back properly and now rattles at every stop light.
Modern vehicles make the stakes higher. There are data buses behind the dash that do not tolerate being spliced into, airbag wiring that must not be disturbed, and body modules that will log faults if the electrical system is loaded incorrectly. Getting a system to play is easy. Getting it to play without costing you a warning light is the job.
We install every major car audio brand, and we are happy to fit equipment you bought elsewhere. If you are searching for a car audio store near you in the northeast, that is us — a working install shop at #129 10985 38 St NE, not a warehouse that ships you a box and wishes you luck.

Bringing your own gear is fine. So is arriving with nothing decided — tell us the vehicle and the budget and we will put a shortlist together.
Vintage car audio is its own discipline, and we take on classic car radio installation for restorations and restomods across Calgary. Two ways people usually go: a retro-look head unit with a period-correct faceplate hiding Bluetooth, USB and a proper amplifier behind it; or a hidden install, where the original radio stays in the dash for looks and the working unit lives in the glovebox or under a seat.
Either way the details matter more on an older car. We fit speakers to the original openings rather than cutting into door cards or a rear deck you have spent years getting right, and we check the charging system, grounds and wiring before adding any load. Vintage looms are brittle and have often been cut about by someone else already.
In most vehicles, yes. Replacing the speakers does not require replacing the head unit, and on many cars it is the only change worth making. If the factory system is amplified we may need an interface so the new speakers see a clean signal, and we will tell you that before quoting.
Usually. A factory head unit has no dedicated subwoofer output, so we take a signal from the existing speaker wiring through a line-output converter or an integration interface, then feed the amplifier from there. On factory amplified systems this also lets us correct the bass roll-off many of them apply at low volume.
It should not. We retain steering wheel audio controls, and we keep chimes, warning tones and factory reversing cameras working wherever the vehicle allows. Which features carry over depends on the car, so we confirm it for your year, make and model before the work is booked.
Not always. If you are replacing tired factory speakers with a better set, a lot of drivers are happy at that point. An amplifier matters when you want real volume without distortion, or when the speakers you have chosen need more power than a factory head unit can give them.
Yes. Bose, Infinity and similar factory amplified systems are a normal part of our work, including diagnosing a dead factory amplifier. Repairing or replacing that one component is often far cheaper than a full system, so we find out what has actually failed before you spend anything on parts.
Allow about three hours in the bay for a straightforward front speaker replacement. Amplifier and subwoofer builds, integration work and full systems are booked to the vehicle, and we tell you the time along with the quote.
Yes. Bring the gear and we will fit it properly. The installation carries our lifetime warranty; the equipment itself carries whatever warranty the manufacturer gave you.
We quote per vehicle, because the same speakers are a different job in different cars. Send your year, make and model with what you want and we will price it before any work starts.
Send the details and we will come back with a price for your vehicle. No call centre, no generic quote.
If you are already booking an audio install, these are the jobs customers most often add to the same visit.

Added behind the factory screen on most modern vehicles, or built into a new head unit.
CarPlay & Android Auto →
Hard-wired and hidden, with parking mode wired to a proper power source rather than a cigarette socket.
Dashcam installation →
A common pairing with audio work in winter, because the dash is already apart.
Remote starters →
If something has stopped working, we find out why before anything gets replaced.
Electrical diagnosis →Send your year, make and model with what you are after and we will tell you what it takes. If you are not sure what you need, describe what bothers you about the system now — that is usually enough for us to point you at the cheapest fix.
